  The Forest Hill High School Key Club is back to its full strength!      

This group of young men attended our last pancake breakfast.  We have another coming up on February 10, 2024, 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM.   The event is a partnership with our club, a West Palm Beach Police youth program, and Applebee's.   

Since 2001, Elite Island Resorts has been committed to its Charitable Contributions Program to support national, state, and local community non-profits.  You will have the opportunity to bid on a discount certificate for 5 of these Carribean resort vacations (100% of bid goes to WPB Kiwanis).  The certificate provides 3 resort rooms (double occupancy) for up to 10 nights each.  You pay for your transportation and the required All-Inclusive supplement which provides food and beverage, + tax/service.  The savings is significant.  Several people who will be at the raffle have been on these trips and can tell you about the exceptional quality and discount these certificates provide.   They are Mary and John Inglis. Tammy Roggen, Beth Valenza, and Mary O’Neil.  Also, try to search via your favorite travel site and look into these resorts.  If you have any questions, please ask.   The video below will give you a great overview of the resort properties.

 

Kiwanis is famous for its Service Leadership Programs (SLPs) with the Key Club being the flagship program.  Our participation and funding of reading programs is a byproduct of this effort and enhances this mission.  As the saying goes, "The new readers of tomorrow are the leaders of tomorrow.  Member Catherine Alston reads with group first

Our club created, and keeps current, a lending library at the Covenant Villas community in Belle Glade.  School packbacks and school supplies are also donated and delivered for the young residents.

The Kiwanis Club of West Palm Beach has supported Back to Basics for many years.
